Norwegian poker phenomenon Annette Obrestad, who famously won the inaugural WSOPE, has been drafted to Full Tilt Poker. With Annette turning 21 last autumn, she can now finally participate in the WSOP for the first time this June.

Obrestad started to learn the game at the age of 15, when she began
playing poker for play money under the nickname, “Annette_15”. After
some training, Annette eventually became extremely profitable with real
money culminating in her online work rank of #1 in tournaments.
The day before her 19th birthday, she had her international
breakthrough in live poker by winning the WSOPE 2007 in London, and with
that came a first prize of £1million. After this victory, Annette has
continued her impressive live poker career by finishing 2nd in the EPT
Dublin in 2007 2 weeks later, a 1st place in Aussie Millions A$ 1,000
Pot Limit Omaha Event and the 7th place in the Aussie Millions Main
Event in 2010 to name a few. As well as on the live poker scene, Annette
has also made a huge name for herself online, and once notably won a
tournament against 128 other participants without looking at her hole
cards.

Up to date, the young Norwegian has won more than 3 million USD in live
tournament winnings, as well as 2 million USD online.
