Greg Genovese came to the final table at the EPT in San Remo in 2008, where he finished 5th bringing home a prize of € 188,500. That was his first important tournament, which he reached by winning a € 300 satellite, and he got that great result despite of the presence at the final table of great players such as Jason Mercier, Dario Minieri, William Thorson, Anthony Lellouche and Dag Palovic.

Thanks to that result he decided to start playing more live tournaments, and a few months later he got his first ITM at his first participation in a WSOP event.

Then he confirmed his excellent skills in MTT with 3 final tables (with one first place) in the Campionato italiano PRO 2008.

With a total of $ 365,000 Gregory is 18th in the All Time Italian Money list.

Greg also got very good results in MTT online with more than $ 100,000 in winnings in less than two years. His best online results are a 2nd and a 4th place at the Sunday Second Chance on PS.
