But that he was going to get at least one award wasn’t too much of a surprise. Michael had a great year in 2008, he finished 2nd in EPT London and won the €1000 side event during Amsterdam Poker Classic etc, and his live winnings only was over 1,3 million USD.

Another thing he has been awarded with lately is a sponsor deal with Full Tilt Poker and he will represent them during many tournaments this year,  Swedish Poker Academy Awards is arranged by Svenska Spel and Casino Cosmopol and the winners has been selected by a "people’s choice" through voting on the candidates in each category online.
