Jeff Sarwer is an avid gamer who became well known at age 8 after becoming the World Chess Champion for boys 10 and under. During that time period he was well known in the media for many things including Simultaneous Chess Exhibitions where he would play up to 40 people at once and being an analyst for 2 seasons on PBS for the Kasparov-Karpov World Championship Matches.

In late 2008 Jeff found a new challenge in poker and started playing regularly on the European circuit by August 2009 for EPT season 6. He had an outstanding season 6 and was nominated for EPT Achievement of the Year and EPT Players Choice Award in May 2010 at the Monte-Carlo season finale. During EPT season 6, Jeff finished 10th in EPT Warsaw followed 2 weeks later by finishing 3rd at EPT Vilamoura. He also came runner-up in the EPT Berlin 10k event. Currently, Jeff has 6 EPT cashes and over $500,000 in tournament winnings.

Jeff also played in his first World Series of Poker in 2010 and cashed in 3 events, which included a narrowly missed final table in the 1.5k NL Shootout event which had 1400 runners.

During the last year, Jeff has spent most of his poker time with some of the top young players in the game, who like him share the same scientific passion of experimenting and analysing the game of poker from every angle possible in order to improve their own level and poker in general.
