Poker history

Vlado is one of the most respected “longtime” players from the Balkan region. He plays for Croatia and came to poker while studying engineering. He financed his studies with poker, starting with 7 card stud and 5 card draw, to find his passion later in High Stakes PLO (Pot Limit Omaha). He moved from Croatia to Innsbruck Austria in the late 80´s and lives there with his wife and three children. His move was again Poker financed for him and his family to lead a comfortable life.

Since then, he is a steady guest at the Austrian Casinos and Card Rooms. In 1998 Vlado made his first tournament cash and is until now one of the most successful players from Southern Europe.

Winning the 7 Card European Masters title in 2006, now second ranked in Croatia and has over $ 500k in tournament winnings.  Tournament Organizers from Eastern Europe regularly invite him to their Poker Events, he is still one of the most recognized players in that area.
