Hand #128 - Casper Hansen has the button, he completes to 60,000, Mattsson raises to 205,000, Hansen moves all in, and Mattsson calls with A9. Hansen shows A2, and he'll need to improve to win the tournament here.

The flop comes 552, and Hansen takes the lead with a pair of deuces. The turn is the J, and Mattsson needs an ace or a jack to chop, or a nine to win.

The river card is the K, and Casper Hansen wins the pot -- and the tournament -- with two pair, fives and deuces.

Stefan Mattsson finishes in second place, earning 220,000 € ($346,621).

Christian har spelat stabil poker under de 4 dagar som turneringen pågått och låg under gårdagen länge med i den absoluta toppen. När Stefan Mattsson spelat klart WPT i Barcelona var han 2,5 miljoner kronor rikare. Och så fick han en liten tjur också.

– Vad är det vi spelar om? En kossa, undrade han.

Stefan Mattsson från Stockholm slutade som tvåa då WPT i Barcelona avgjordes på tisdagskvällen. Den 29-årige proffsspelaren Mattsson är född i Kiruna och har tidigare också bott i Umeå där han bland annat jobbat som croupier innan han för tre år sedan beslöt att satsa på pokern på heltid.

RedKings pro wins EPT Prague side event

The main event of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour may have been in the spotlight during the stop in Prague, but one of the side events turned out to be the highlight for a couple of RedKings Poker pros.

Ramzi Jelassi and Jonas Molander, both recently signed as pros at RedKings Poker, made the final table of the €2,000 side event. The two Swedish pros were both in contention, but it was Jelassi who picked up the win.

Peter Jepsen is our winner in EPT Warsaw. The former soldier took up poker when he was seriously injured in Iraq, and became a different kind of hero today when he took the Polish Open title. This Danish player always stacked his chips with military precision, and had a cool methodical style of play, this made his assault on this EPT title look almost effortless.

I don't know whether it was anything to do with his girlfriend being the EPT's regular massage therapist..!? Peter seemed completely relaxed at every stage of this EPT. At the final table he played his cards, made his moves, but always seemed in quiet control. As the final unfolded his girlfriend watched from the sidelines, and he didn't seem to need a back rub, but he did seem happy when she gave him a proud, hug when he won.

Hougaard Prevails in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Event with his Aggressive Style

Jesper Hougaard proved to the world once again that when an aggressive player from Denmark is at a final table, every other player at the table should take notice. Hougaard was inspired to play more poker when he first saw Gus Hansen dominate on the World Poker Tour a few years ago. Now Hougaard owns something that Hansen does not, a World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Hougaard defeated a huge field of 2,447 in a $1,500 no-limit hold'em event to win $610,304. He dominated play at every stretch of the final table, but his toughest challenge came heads up. Cody Slaubaugh stole the chip lead from him just before the dinner break, but dinner was just what the doctor ordered for Hougaard. He regained the the upper hand after the break and slammed the door shut on Slaubaugh shortly thereafter to win his first bracelet.

Brian "SNo0oWMAN" Hawkins, a 19 year old online poker professional, took down the Sunday Million on Pokerstars last night for a whopping $278,502.

The prize pool for the Pokerstars event was closer to $2,000,000 than $1,000,000, with 3,192 players ponying up $530 (including rake) to enter this enormous tournament. 486 players made the money. Taking 3rd in this tournament was European no limit holdem specialist Rob Hollink, better known online as batoelrob.
